Gettin' Abs of Steel

So, I've been taking a zumba class, and it has done wonders for my abs. What the heck is zumba, anyway? Basically, it is Latin dance on crack. It's some pretty intense aerobic activity, based on latin dance steps such as the salsa, cumbia, tango, etc. It also uses dance moves from around the world, ranging from African calypso to Arabian belly-dancing. About ninety precent of my zumba class consists of hip rolls, butt-shaking, and chest pumps, which smacks of 'exotic dancing', but gives your abs a serious workout! For real, my abs are hard as rocks rigfht now. Unfortunatly, they're still hiding under about an inch and a half of post-pregnancy weight I haven't managed to take off, but what are you gonna do. Meh. In my case, I guess I'm gonna try adding a few 1-mile walks to my weekly routine of two 1-hour zumba classes. We'll see how it goes. =)
